Vetta Chamber Music features Canadian concert pianist Angela Cheng in all-Dvořák program

Vetta Chamber Music is bringing its 2021-22 season to a thrilling close on May 14 at 7 pm at the beautiful Christ Church Cathedral: Angela Cheng will join the Vetta Chamber players for an all-Dvořák repertoire. 

A national treasure, Cheng is a Hong Kong-born Canadian classical pianist who has appeared as a soloist with more than 100 orchestras around the globe and who has been praised for her brilliant technique, tonal beauty, and superb musicianship. 

Joining Cheng in concert are Alvin Chow, piano; Joan Blackman and David Gillham, violin; Yariv Aloni, viola; and Zoltan Rozsnyai, cello. 

The program features Slavonic Dances, Op. 46, Nos. 4, 6 & 8; Piano Trio No. 4 in E minor “Dumky”; and Piano Quintet No. 2 in A major, Op. 81.
