Bard on the Beach’s 2023 season takes off with the triumphant return of their musically inspired production of Shakespeare’s play As You Like It, from June 8 to September 30 on the BMO Mainstage in Vanier Park. Regular showtimes are at 2 pm and 7:30 pm, with three special 5 pm runs on July 22, 26, and 29 for English Bay’s Honda Celebration of Light fireworks competition.

It’s the 1960s all over again as free spirits escape from Vancouver in this joyful tribute to love, laughter, and music. Featuring two dozen classic songs by The Beatles performed live on stage, from “I Want to Hold Your Hand” to “Here Comes the Sun”, the critically acclaimed show is a must-see for music lovers. The original Bard on the Beach production played to sold-out houses in 2018, and has since charmed audiences across North America.

This romantic comedy is directed and adapted by Daryl Cloran, artistic director of Citadel Theatre, and conceived by Daryl Cloran and Christopher Gaze, artistic director of Bard on the Beach.
