Nominations for BC Achievement Foundation’s 21st annual Community Award are now open until January 31, 2024.

The Community Award recognizes British Columbians who have made significant contributions to their communities. The program celebrates individuals who raise the quality and character of their community, and who are shining examples of dedication, excellence, and service.

“The award has reaffirmed my interests in community service, sustainability, and accessibility, and the incredible work of those I am surrounded by,” says Stephanie Quon, a 2022 Community Award recipient, in a release.

The Mitchell Award of Distinction title will also be granted to one recipient. Named in honour of the late Keith Mitchell, past chair of the BC Achievement Foundation, the title recognizes leadership that empowers others to engage.

Visit BC Achievement Foundation to nominate recipients, and the foundation’s YouTube channel to hear stories of awardees from previous years. Recipients will be announced on May 2, 2024.
