Emmy Award-winning American stand-up comic, writer, actor, and producer Wanda Sykes returns to the Just for Laughs stage this year as part of her Wanda Sykes: Please & Thank You Tour on February 24 at 7 pm at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Ranked among Entertainment Weekly’s “25 Funniest People in America”, Sykes is a regular on the adult-puppet comedy show Crank Yankers and was a recurring guest on ABC’s Black-ish and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She has garnered a total of 17 Emmy Award nominations over the course of her career, including three for her Netflix stand-up specials, 2023’s Wanda Sykes: I’m an Entertainer and 2019’s Wanda Sykes: Not Normal.

Kathy Griffin also performs at the fest on February 24, with her touring show Kathy Griffin: My Life on the PTSD-List at the Vogue Theatre at 6:30 pm. An award-winning comedian, actor, author, and advocate, Griffin is perhaps best known for her hit Bravo series Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, which aired for 6 years and won two Emmy Awards. She starred on NBC’s Suddenly Susan, and has lent her unique voice to animated characters in The Simpsons, Futurama, and more.
