A tribute to legendary American-Greek soprano Maria Callas is making its only North American stop in Vancouver.

On January 18, Opera West Society is presenting the exclusive event at the Chan Centre for Performing Arts. The concert by globally celebrated soprano Sondra Radvanovsky is an homage to the timeless music of Callas—one of the most renowned and influential opera singers of the 20th century.

Known for her captivating vocals and dramatic finesse, Radvanovsky, a distinguished Verdi soprano, will sing the repertoire most connected with the late diva, accompanied by the Vancouver Festival Orchestra under the direction of the esteemed maestro Tania Miller.

Radvanovsky’s Paris Opera engagement of the Callas Tribute sold out, and she has graciously added this highly anticipated second performance, in collaboration with Opera West Society. Join in for a night of musical opulence—a celebration of warmth, joy, and the sheer brilliance of opera.
