Mount Pleasant’s beloved Little Mountain Shop is headed to the North Shore, as its popup store hits the Polygon Gallery just in time for the holiday season.

Makers who used to showcase their work at the East Side community space, which was forced to close in June due to COVID-19, will instead find an outlet for their artisan products in the gallery’s expansive mainfloor lobby.

Look for finely crafted candles, hand-loomed textiles, serene ceramics, and more artful gift ideas.

Recognizing that holiday markets are on hold this year, the Polygon Shop is in the unique position to showcase a larger selection of locally crafted products in its space.

Little Mountain Shop’s Annual Holiday Pop-Up is open to the public until December 27. The new partnership is the first collaboration of its kind for Little Mountain Shop’s Natasha Neale.

Featured brands include  Homecoming Candles, Droplet Home Goods, Lover’s Tempo, Lisa Warren Ceramics, Paper Label, Kunye, Warren Steven Scott, Mumgry, the Acorn, Woash, Well Kept, and more.

Little Mountain Shop values working with BIPOC businesses and mandates a commitment to showcasing Black-, Indigenous-, and People of Colour-owned brands.

The space is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, and until 8 p.m. on Thursdays.

Full safety protocols are in place, including limited in-store occupancy, hand sanitizer stations, and clearly marked distancing lines. All visitors must wear a mask and respect physical-distancing guidelines.

The project is sponsored by Local Practice Architecture + Design and The Shipyards District BIA.
