Presented by Rumble Theatre, New Societies’ digital game of virtual collaboration, competition, and potential Utopia, is set to happen again online, on January 7 and 8 at 7 pm.

You can join in from home as New Societies mixes strategic board game and theatrical narrative, all shaped by the choices you make as you play.

Utilizing a new digital playing space designed by Sam MacKinnon, the hit quarantine production created by Vancouver-Toronto-based Re:Current Theatre, New Societies melds the concepts of digital strategic board game and a theatrical storyline. The setup? There’s a chance to set up a new society on a newly discovered planet.

The new digital edition of the hit theatre-game is open to a single player, with kids, or with a partner (any combination is possible). And remember: It is best experienced using Google Chrome web browser on a laptop or computer.
