Shadbolt Centre for the Arts hosts two performances of the Arts Club Theatre Company’s touring production Made in Italy on April 2 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm.

Meet Francesco Mantini, a second-generation Italian teen struggling to find his place in Jasper, Alberta. Inspired by pop culture icons Rocky Balboa and John Travolta, he reinvents himself as Frank Martin: crooner and ladies’ man. As buoyant and bubbly as a glass of prosecco, Made in Italy is a celebration of music, food, and family that’s so delightful audiences won’t soon fuhgeddaboudit.

Made in Italy is written by Farren Timoteo and based on a production by Western Canada Theatre. For the upcoming performance in Burnaby, Vancouver-based actor Daniel Curalli stars as Frank.

The show is just over two hours long, and includes one intermission. Tickets and more details are available at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.
