Studio 58 at Langara College presents FourPlay, featuring four original one-act plays written by Studio 58 students, from March 27 to April 7 with showtimes at 3 pm and 7:30 pm. Now in its 14th edition, this fringe-style festival showcases the next generation of contemporary playwrights.

Program A features Sewit Eden Haile’s Pretty Girls, a surreal exploration of beauty standards directed by Jamie King; and Gillty as Fin by Terrence Zhou and Caylen Creative, a hilarious underwater musical directed by Leslie Dos Remedios in which an orca whale has been wrongfully accused of murder.

Program B includes Jenna Leigh’s Panty Sniffers, a comedy directed by Deb Williams about two broke college roommates selling used panties online; and Yorlene Bernido’s Fly, Love directed by Anjela Magpantay, about a girl with a rare genetic syndrome developing a relationship with her Filipina nanny.

Tickets to the show and more details are at Studio 58.
