The Cultch has just announced its programming will continue well into 2021.

The historic East Side venue is offering three new subscription boxes, as well as launching The Cultch Community—a fresh way for subscribers and donors to connect with each other and hear all the latest Cultch updates first

When it launched its season in the fall, The Cultch made a commitment to continue to share the work of artists from its stages on a digital platform. That meant the company had to bring on board a strong team of artists, technicians, and videographers to adapt and produce quality digital work.

That popular programming has seen patrons tuning in to Cultch shows from around the world. And now, as 2020 comes to an end, the theatre is taking the leap to continue to create more online shows, within rigorous provincial health guidelines.

Encouraged by the generosity of donors and subscribers who have continued to support The Cultch through the pandemic, the company is pleased to announce that it’s found a way for both subscribers and donors to keep abreast of the latest Cultch news.

The Cultch aims to build a place where these supporters can feel like they are part of what the Cultch does, regardless of how they participate. The Cultch Community gives its members access to an exclusive online hub that offers greater access to artist conversations, and all the latest news first.

The three new Digital Subscription Boxes are on offer to audiences at thecultch.com/support, each featuring innovative programming and exclusive bonus material. The content of these boxes will be revealed incrementally, and first access will be given to subscribers and donors through The Cultch Community. The fifth and sixth subscription boxes will contain programming for February/March, and April/May.

The Cultch will be kicking off 2021 in January and February with a fourth subscription box, the Music Box. The Music Box will include the broadcast of the filmed production of The Cave, an apocalyptic cabaret about animal refugees and the climate crisis, with lyrics by Tomson Highway; it streams January 22 to 24. February 5 to 7 will see the remount of do you want what i have got? a craigslist cantata, back due to popular demand.
