The Improv Centre on Granville Island is hosting its spring show Bring Back The ’90s! on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm from April 21 to May 27, with a special opening night on April 20 at 7:30 pm.

Created and directed by Andrew Barber, Bring Back The ’90s! transports guests to the age of boy bands, lava lamps, and mixtapes, when one of life’s biggest worries was which VHS to rent on a Friday night. The homage to coming-of-age television programs like Saved by the Bell and Growing Pains will use audience suggestions to create characters on par with the likes of Zack Morris, Urkel, Phoebe, and Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor.

This nostalgic, energy-packed improv show is a blast from the past from The Improv Centre’s ensemble members that will have viewers reminiscing of Dunkaroos and Bop It.

Tickets are available online or in person at The Improv Centre’s box office, located at 1502 Duranleau Street.
