Vancouver Bach Family of Choirs traditional SummerSing! concert returns to the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts on May 14 at 4 pm.

A joint show from the Vancouver Bach Choir and children’s choirs, the performance is packed full of rocking, rolling, jazzy choral arrangements, with special guests and a warm, joyful tone to welcome summer.

The concert will feature a team of conductors: Leslie Dala and Marisa Gaetanne, resident music directors at Vancouver Bach Family of Choirs; along with Cathrie Yuen, Catherine Campolin, and Shane Raman.

The choirs will also be accompanied by pianists Stephen Smith, Kin Ming Wong, Aslan Aslanov, Shifra Day, and Esther Chun.

The Vancouver Bach Family of Choirs children’s program provides choral training to over 350 singers from kindergarten to young adulthood. The unique, multi-tiered music outreach program is one of the most established in the Lower Mainland, dating back to 1984.
