The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra hosts internationally renowned conductor Leonard Slatkin in Spanish Adventures: Don Quixote at the Orpheum from March 8 to 10.

The VSO welcomes Slatkin, who has conducted virtually all leading orchestras in the world, for a musical voyage to sun-drenched Spain. Experience Richard Strauss’ ode to the legend of Don Quixote, with VSO principal cellist Henry Shapard interpreting the role of the titular knight, and VSO principal viola Hung-Wei Huang as Sancho Panza.

On March 8 at 6:45 pm, audiences are invited to Westcoast Energy Hall to enjoy a special Prelude Concert with the VSO School of Music’s Sinfonietta.

The performances on March 8 and 9 at 8 pm are part of the Assante Vancouver Centre Masterworks Diamond series, and the show on March 10 at 2 pm is presented through RGF Integrated Wealth Symphony Sundays.
