Vetta Chamber Music announces Romanticism Unleashed, with a dynamic duo from Barcelona

Violinist Kai Gleusteen and pianist Catherine Ordronneau join Vetta for the classic program of romantic chamber music

 
 

Vetta Chamber Music is thrilled to present Romanticism Unleashed, the third concert of its 2022-23 season.

The highly anticipated performance—a classic program of romantic chamber music—features Kai Gleusteen and Catherine Ordronneau, a dynamic duo from Barcelona.

With Ordronneau on piano and Gleusteen joining Vetta Chamber Music artistic director Joan Blackman on violin, the concert also features Jacob van der Sloot on viola and Zoltan Rozsnyai on cello.

On the program are Schubert’s String Quartet No. 13 in A minor, D. 804, Op. 29 "Rosamunde"; Liszt’s Après une lecture du Dante: Fantasia quasi Sonata; and Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E-flat major, Op. 44.

Performances take place on Friday, January 27, 2pm at West Point Grey United Church; Saturday, January 28 at 7:30 pm at West Vancouver United Church; Sunday, January 29 at 2 pm at Pyatt Hall; and Monday, Jan. 30th, 2023 at 7:30 pm at ArtSpring on Salt Spring Island.
