Vetta Chamber Music hosts Schubertiade with Angela Cheng at West Point Grey United Church on April 26 at 2 pm, West Vancouver United Church on April 27 at 7:30 pm, Pyatt Hall on April 28 at 2 pm, and ArtSpring on April 29 at 2:30 pm.

Internationally renowned pianist Cheng has performed twice on the Vetta stage to date, but for gala specials. This time, Cheng will perform alongside the Vetta Chamber Players for the final program of the company’s regular series, touring to four different venues.

On the slate is a special treat: Schubert’s Fantasia in F minor for four hands, performed alongside Cheng’s duo partner and husband Alvin Chow, a soloist in his own right. Next on the program is Mozart’s virtuosic Piano Quartet in E flat major, followed by Schubert’s effervescent “Trout” quintet, an audience favourite.
