Vetta Chamber Music presents Serenades & Divertimenti, its second concert of the 2023-24 season, from December 1 to 4. Performances take place on December 1 at 2 pm at West Point Grey United Church, December 2 at 7:30 pm at Kay Meek Arts Centre, December 3 at 2 pm at Pyatt Hall, and December 4 at 2:30 pm at ArtSpring.

For the last several years, Vetta Chamber Music has presented a program featuring an all-woman ensemble consisting of young emerging professionals combined with seasoned chamber musicians.

The mentorship program is an annual project led by artistic director Joan Blackman. Performances are of high calibre, and bursting with youthful exuberance.

This year, Vetta Chamber Music presents a string orchestra program featuring three works: Mozart’s Divertimento in D major, K 136, Béla Bartók’s Divertimento for String Orchestra, and Antonin Dvořák’s Serenade for Strings in E major Opus 22.
