Coastal Jazz & Blues Society is announcing the return of the Revue Stage as host of its Innovation Series, which takes place from June 26 to 30 as part of the 2024 Granville Island Jazz at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.

For the second year, the Revue Stage joins well-established locales Performance Works and Ocean Artworks as an official venue for the festival’s Granville Island Jazz. Over 10 shows, the Innovation Series offers a varied selection of established creative jazz ensembles and new improvisation collaborations.

Each year, the festival pairs up international artists with local musicians to perform a completely improvised set. The resulting concerts highlight some of the most sought-after improvisational and experimental musicians in contemporary creative music.
