Co.ERASGA’s Studio Salon Series returns to What Lab, featuring works in progress by four local artists, on April 28 and 29 at 5 pm.

The show on April 28 will showcase Alyssa Favero’s new solo Vibrate created through their project VOLT24, along with a second work performed by Justin Calvadores that explores ideas discovered while developing Vibrate.

The night will round out with excerpts of choreographer Sophie Dow’s new cross-disciplinary piece Agrimony, featuring dancers Amanda Testini and Vitantonio Spinelli performing in paper maché masks to live music composed by Laura Reznek.

On April 29 audiences get to see Colombian-Canadian artist Juan Villegas’s contemporary solo Edictum, which is Latin for “order” or “command”. The performance draws upon his Sephardic Jew ancestors seeking refuge in Colombia following their persecution.

Last but not least on the lineup is Bounded Freedom: Explorations in Possibility and Limits by Kristen Lewis of Gull Cry Dance, which explores how confined space shapes subjectivity.

What Lab is at 202-1814 Pandora Street, and tickets to the series are available here.
