New Works hosts Modus Operandi with a special presentation of works in development at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre on March 24 at 3 pm.

These young artists will be presenting a mixed program of works by celebrated choreographers Tiffany Tregarthen and David Raymond (artistic directors of Modus Operandi), and international guest Yin Yue (founder of the New York-based non-profit contemporary dance company YYDC).

Modus Operandi was founded in 2007 in the heart of Vancouver, and offers post-secondary contemporary dance training. The company’s mission is to nurture unique emergent voices in dance by continuously investigating and investing in a practice-based curriculum that welcomes all possible forms of movement. Alumni are celebrated as some of Canada’s most radical and inspired new artists, who are producing, creating, and performing in an enormous range of formats, environments, and organizations.

Tickets are available for purchase on a sliding scale. More details are at New Works.
