How are you feeling about life right now?

We just want to go out and dance and we miss each other deeply.

How has the pandemic affected your work?

It’s made it non-existent. We are also living in different countries, which adds salt to the wound. We expected to continue as a touring band and travelling to write but have had to put that on pause.

What are you working on right now? Do you have any plans or projects lined up for 2021?

We all have independent musical projects to sustain us until things open again. Ash is working on Minimal Violence. Britt is working on Sigsaly as well as DJ stuff. Kati his working with her band, Dustblaster.

Where are you finding solace and comfort?

Running, being in the studio, bad movies, the forest, connecting with friends.... Alcohol.

What are you most looking forward to once the pandemic passes?

Touching strangers and kissing our friends. Playing music and going to shows. Raving!

What song or album has been in your heavy rotation recently and why?

Smerz: Oslo Teenage Mix for NTS is on constant rotation. It keeps our energy up and helps us feel inspired/less hopeless.

Can you give a shoutout to one of your favourite Vancouver musicians or artists? What about them inspires you?

Prado! Her determination and talent are sooo inspiring.

What would you like to see change in Vancouver?

We want more late-night venue options run by people who aren't cis white men.

Who is your dream collaborator?

First era Throbbing Gristle.
