The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra presents Meow Meow: Pandemonium at the Orpheum on March 2 at 8 pm.

International siren and comedienne extraordinaire Meow Meow is accompanied by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s musicians for a glorious evening of subversive and sublime entertainment.

Post-postmodern Australian diva Meow Meow has hypnotised, inspired, and terrified audiences globally with unique creations and sell-out seasons at venues among the likes of New York’s Lincoln Center, Berlin’s Bar Jeder Vernunft, London’s West End, and the Sydney Opera House. As well as being a prolific original music and theatre creator, she specializes in the Weimar repertoire and French chanson. Her award-winning works have been curated by David Bowie, Pina Bausch, Mikhail Baryshnikov, and numerous international arts festivals.

In the performance led by fellow Australia-born, New York-based conductor Nicholas Buc, audiences can expect Piazzolla tangos, Weill, Brecht, Brel, and even Radiohead, as well as original compositions.

Tickets are available at the VSO.
