Vines Art Festival’s upcoming We, The Many brings drag, music, and dance to Í7iy̓el̓shn/Sunset Beach this Friday, August 5 at 6 pm.

Celebrating 2SLGBTIQIA+ history, existence, and art, it features Vancouver’s all-Asian drag family House of Rice, the Caribbean-vibed sounds of DJ Nea, and Jamaican-Brazilian drag performer Batty B Banks, with artists Cru Alexander and Dongganisa.

Bringing queer joy to public space, the show pays tribute to the ongoing resistance to erasure and destruction of queer spaces, lives, and stories.

The performance features ASL interpretation by Season Hunt, Gillian Pettit and Lily Flanjak.
