Surrey Civic Theatres are proudly owned and operated by the City of Surrey. Our venues include the Main Stage and Studio Theatre at the Surrey Arts Centre, Centre Stage at Surrey City Hall, and the Black Box Theatre at Clayton Community Centre.

Surrey Civic Theatres has entertainment for everyone, and our stages come alive year-round with exceptional live experiences: from captivating theatre, side-splitting comedy, inspiring music performances and more.

Families can also enjoy Surrey SPARK Stages, our family-focused series featuring outstanding performances and engaging arts experiences created especially for children and their grown-ups. Together, our theatres serve as vibrant gathering places where artists and audiences connect through the power of live performance.

Events are presented through a combination of programming curated by Surrey Civic Theatres’ Artistic Director and performances produced by the many organizations and individuals who choose our venues to share their stories.

Surrey Civic Theatres are built on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Coast Salish people, including the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen) and se’mya’me (Semiahmoo) Nations, and SCT is honoured to work and learn on land they have stewarded since time immemorial.
