Surrey Civic Theatres launches 2026–27 season, with entertainment for everyone
Offerings in store range from compelling plays care of the Arts Club On Tour to a relaxing matinee Coffee Concert Series

The curtain is rising on another diverse season at Surrey Civic Theatres, with a lineup of world-class performances, returning favourites, and captivating new experiences in store. There’s something for everyone to enjoy—and by bundling shows or tickets, folks can experience more of the season while saving along the way.
Among the highlights is the 2026–27 season of Arts Club On Tour, featuring stories that celebrate female relationships in all their complexity. The series launches with the hilarious holiday hit Mom’s the Word: Talkin’ Turkey, created by the Mom’s the Word Collective, from October 14 to 24. Next is Summer, 1976 by David Auburn, which follows the unlikely friendship of a free-spirited housewife and serious single mother, from January 13 to 23, 2027. Capping the series off is the coming-of-age favourite Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women by Lauren Gunderson from February 24 to March 6, 2027.
The Coffee Concert Series features four matinee concerts with the Bergmann Piano Duo and guests. Each of these performances includes a pre-show social hour with delicious treats. Kicking things off on October 8 is Fantasies for Two, a program that spotlights some of the duo’s favourite works from the four-hands repertoire, played on two pianos.

Rounding out the program is the Surrey SPARK Stages series, where children can discover a love for the performing arts. Shows include Video Phase’s mesmerizing digital performance Alt-Escape on September 26, the whimsical circus experience Glob on November 21, and the relaxed musical morning Baby Spark: Little Fox on November 25.
Several bundles are available for purchase, so guests can see more and save more throughout the season. Choose five or more shows and save 20 percent; or choose three or more shows and save 15 percent. Theatregoers will also save $5 on single-show tickets that are added to an Arts Club On Tour or Coffee Concert subscription; and folks who are attending in groups can enjoy additional savings on select performances, too.
There are plenty more shows in store this season, such as the special celebration New Year’s Eve with the Cheesecake Burlesque Revue on December 31.
