IN CONJUNCTION WITH Feast for the Eyes: The Story of Food in Photography, the Polygon Gallery is partnering with local restaurants to help give them a boost.

When you order take-out or delivery from any of the participating places, you get a Member for a Day pass, which provides one day of free admission to the Polygon for up to four adults and their children, plus 10 percent off in the Polygon Shop and Bookstore the day you visit.

Passes will be delivered with your order and are valid until May 30, which is the final day of Feast for the Eyes.

Bishop’s, Bodega on Main, Caffe La Tana, Chancho, Cold Tea, Dicky’s Dumps, Dock Lunch, Nuba, the Parlour, Pepino’s, Pizza Coming Soon, and Savio Volpe are all onboard.

In a related initiative, the Polygon has teamed up with Truffles Fine Foods for a takeaway dinner that will support local charities.

The package includes dinner for two and a Polygon Member for a Day pass. When you plate your meal and share it on social media, a panel of judges will select a winner for the most creative presentation. Truffles Fine Foods will donate 50 prepared meals in the winner’s name to Covenant House, Atira Women’s Resource Society, or Kílala Lelum Health Centre. You just need to tag @truffles_fine_foods and @polygongallery in your post to enter.

There are two options for three course meals. One comes with a multicoloured beet salad; chicken with lemon and olives or vegan panisse, and pavlova; the other features roasted butternut squash soup, deconstructed salmon Wellington or mushroom Wellington; and Death by Chocolate with raspberry coulis.

More information is at the Polygon.
