Create! Arts Festival presents the Art! Bike! Beer! Crawl Brewery Tour & Fundraiser on July 22 from 2 to 6 pm
IF YOU HAVEN’T TRIED the summer-perfect brews pouring at East Van’s best craft-beer havens, now’s your chance. We’re thinking Bomber Brewing’s Beyond the Peel Juicy IPA, Strange Fellows’ Trio Supremo Pineapple Lime Gose, and Parallel 49’s grapefruit-crisp Tricycle Radler.
The timing is right because Eastside Arts Society is about to hold its seventh annual Art! Bike! Beer! Crawl fundraiser and tour on Saturday, July 22, as part of the Create! Arts Festival.
It’s a perfect combination of fun pursuits: participants can head out on foot or on two wheels for a tour of four breweries, most of them exhibiting art created in nearby studios (the ones that swing open their doors each November for the Eastside Culture Crawl).
Each ticket-holder hits three out of the eight top-notch breweries in the ‘hood: Bomber Brewing, Callister Brewing Co., East Van Brewing, Luppolo Brewing, Off the Rail Brewing, Parallel 49, Strathcona Beer Company, and Strange Fellows Brewing.
The event wraps up back at CREATE! Arts Festival, where participants can enjoy a final tasting from Strange Fellows Brewing, food from a wild array of food trucks, and the event’s hands-on Art Zone activities. The $60 ticket includes a tasting flight or pint at each stop and a food-truck voucher.
The event supports the Eastside Arts Society's programming and festivals—including the Crawl itself.
