The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again] lands at Bard on the Beach starting July 1

Directed by Mark Chavez, a rotating cast of hilarious theatre artists act out all of the Bard’s comedies, histories, tragedies, and sonnets

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again] has been loved the world over. Now this irreverent, fast-paced romp makes its Bard on the Beach debut from July 1 to September 20 in the Douglas Campbell Theatre tent.

This play is a wild ride through the Bard’s comedies, histories, tragedies, and sonnets that will leave audiences helpless with laughter, especially with the addition of director Mark Chavez’s hyper-local references in the script written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield, with new revisions by Singer and Winfield.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again] features a rotating cast of four of Vancouver’s funniest actors: Tess Degenstein, Craig Erickson, Arghavan Jenati, and Nathan Kay. Each show will feature three of those players in a zany and hysterical race against time to perform all of the Bard’s canon in 90 minutes—or else.
