As part of this year’s rEvolver Festival, Upintheair Theatre is hosting the mainstage performance Regarding Antigone, a new play where every line is a call to action. Showings are taking place at The Cultch’s Vancity Culture Lab on May 29 at 7:30 pm, May 30 at 8:55 pm, and May 31 at 3:30 pm.

Regarding Antigone is inspired by a true story, and inspired by the classic Greek tragedy of Antigone, and inspired by war photography, and inspired by my weak memory, and inspired by a revolution, and inspired by state propaganda, and inspired by a song she sang, and inspired by cringe diaspora poetry—and the list goes on.

Directed by Art Babayants and starring performer Banafsheh Hassani حسنی بنفشه, Regarding Antigone is a creation by The Sky is the Limit Theatre and Sort Of Productions.

Tickets to the show and more details about the rEvolver Festival are available through Upintheair Theatre.
