Jenn Grant
Acclaimed Nova Scotia–based singer-songwriter Jenn Grant’s groundbreaking live show transforms her new record into a stunning fusion of music, film, theatre, and dance at BlueShore at CapU, March 7.
Grant’s latest album, Queen of the Strait, draws from her childhood in Prince Edward Island and the timeless pull of the Atlantic. It’s the folk and pop musician’s most personal work to date, offering a moving meditation on grief, transformation, and the beauty of beginning again.
Cradled by the Waves, the show at the heart of Grant’s cross-Canada tour, is an immersive cinematic experience featuring a six-piece band, evocative film projections, and interpretive movement. Together, these elements create a dreamlike landscape where her songs from Queen of the Strait flow seamlessly into one another.
With eight albums and three Juno Award nominations to date, Grant has earned widespread recognition for her ethereal sound and evocative storytelling.
