Khatsahlano Street Party announces 2024 program with more than 50 musical acts

Zulu Records has curated diverse local lineup for the July 6 event, including Hotel Mira, Babe Corner, and NADUH

The Merchants of West 4th Avenue presents Khatsahlano Street Party on July 6 from 11 am to 9 pm

 

KHATSAHLANO STREET PARTY has announced its 2024 lineup, with more than 50 acts taking to West Fourth Avenue between Burrard and Macdonald Streets on July 6 from 11 am to 9 pm. Presented by the Merchants of West 4th Avenue, Khatsahlano Street Party is marking its 12th year.

Zulu Records has curated the artistic lineup of purely B.C. talent. Among the highlights is Hotel Mira on the Burrard Stage for a performance presented by Stir.

The full lineup features Babe Corner, Devours, Toddy, Garret T. Willie, NADUH, Bend Sinister, Serengeti, Tambura Rasa, The History of Gunpowder, Sam Lynch, Wooden Horsemen, Rat Silo, Emmett Jerome, Sam Tudor, Sail Cassady, Fionn, Layten Kramer, Obembe, passion mango, Tiger Really, Freeze the Fall, Amanda Sum, Group ASI Somos, Uncle Strut, Nette, Tennyson King, Lowkita, WAASH, Semi Athletic, Chase the Bear, Ponytails, Royal Oak, ebonEmpress, The Infinite Atom, Victoria Raskin, Ramen Fog, Kaya Ko, Francis Baptiste, La Lune, Kate Yahn, Goat String Orchestra, Rosemary Ginger, Michael Slumber, Runner, JIA, Devon More, Nickolaj, Matías Roden, Music with Marnie, Matt Henry, School of Rock, The Madrigal Sisters Singalong, Mt Pleasant Songwriting Class, Yuki the Juggler, Kin Juniors, and Madelyn Read.

For the first time, Khatsahlano has teamed up with the Vancouver Folk Music Festival to present the Maple Stage, which will feature folk music. The Khats Kids Stage at Trafalgar Street will have performances for little ones, including appearances by students of School of Rock and Sarah McLachlan School of Music. New this year is Kin Juniors, where youth will be able to learn new moves while having fun with fitness company KIN Culture.

Kitsilano is home to 17 athletic stores along West 4th Avenue, so in keeping with that spirit is the Active Zone in the Safeway parking lot, where Arc’Teryx is mounting a climbing wall. Peak Performance is providing a mini golf course.

Serving up drinks at the beer and bar gardens are Olé Cocktail, Hard T, Stanley Park Brewing, and Vancouver Island Brewing.

There will also be more than 50 food trucks at Larch Street.
