Western Gold Theatre’s fourth annual Have A Senior Moment Festival brings audiences 10 days of theatre, works in development, music, creative workshops, artist salons, and more. Taking place from September 25 to October 4 at PAL Studio Theatre and other West End venues, the festival celebrates the fact that creativity has no expiry date.

This year’s edition is headlined by the On Our Feet! (OOF!) staged reading of Anniversary by Carol Shields and Dave Williamson from September 25 to 27. The comedy, which follows recently separated couple Dianne and Tom, takes a sharp look at middle-class suburban life, love, and marriage.

Among other Have A Senior Moment Festival highlights is Popcorn & A Movie on September 29, featuring horror film The Rug and its process documentary Silver Screamers. The festival closes on October 4 with an uplifting Métis Kitchen Party & Feast in partnership with Full Circle: First Nations Performance, the Talking Stick Festival, and V’ni Dansi.
