Bard on the Beach presents Bard After Dark on the Douglas Campbell Theatre stage every Friday night in August at 10 pm

MAYBE YOU WANT to keep the laughter going after The Merry Wives of Windsor or Goblin:Oedipus—or perhaps you find yourself in need of some levity after the Greek tragedy of Antigone or the existential horror of Macbeth.

Whatever the case, Bard on the Beach has got it sorted. Each Friday night in August (that’s August 7, 14, 21, and 28, to be precise), Bard After Dark offers a cabaret-style experience with drinks, music, and improv comedy from a rotating cast of Tightrope Theatre’s finest.

On any given Friday, the performers bringing the yuks will include some combination of the following: Rebecca Northan, Ali Froggatt, Bruce Horak, Peter Oldring, Jen Tong, Camille Legg, Jeff Gladstone, Lili Beaudoin, Ellis Lalonde, Sarah Ferguson, Tess Degenstein, Roman Danylo, Veena Sood, and Raf Rogers.

You can add Bard After Dark onto your same-day evening play ticket for $20, or buy a separate ticket and come just for the 10 pm show.

Bard After Dark performances take place in the Douglas Campbell Theatre, seating is general admission, and the shenanigans are recommended for audience members aged 16 and up.
