Chris Smither and the Motivators

Veteran finger-stylist and singer Chris Smither has been performing for almost 60 years and continues to be a profound songwriter, blistering guitarist, and intense performer. He’ll take the stage at BlueShore at CapU on December 3 at 7:30 pm, drawing deeply from blues, American folk music, modern poetry, and philosophy.

Smither’s steady touring and 20 acclaimed albums have cemented his reputation as one of the most respected acoustic musicians in North America. Scores of artists have recorded his songs, including Bonnie Raitt, Diana Krall, John Mayall, and Emmylou Harris.

Chris Smither embarked on this rare band tour with the Motivators several months ago. The group includes musicians featured on his latest album All About the Bones, which is among his finest works. The Motivators are producer-musician David Goodrich, Zak Trojano, and BettySoo.

Tickets and more details are available through the BlueShore at CapU.
