Chris Pierce, who has toured with Neil Young, plays the BlueShore at CapU on December 7
Singer-songwriter has performed with the likes of Steve Earle, B.B. King, Seal, and Al Green
Chris Pierce
Americana-folk artist Chris Pierce released his latest album Let All Who Will in 2023, the same year he was handpicked by Neil Young to open his sold-out tour. The singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist’s record received huge critical acclaim, with “We Can Always Come Back to This” reaching the number-one spot on Billboard’s blues chart.
Pierce has toured and performed on stage with other greats, including Steve Earle, B.B. King, Seal, Blind Boys of Alabama, and Aaron Neville. Blessed with a dynamic range and expression that rivals Al Green (with whom he’s also performed), it’s nearly impossible to conceive that Pierce lost much of his hearing as a child. But it’s only added to his drive to share music with his audiences as he wins them over, song by song.
At the BlueShore at CapU on December 7, expect Pierce to introduce some new songs from a just-recorded upcoming album.
