Steve Patterson is an award-winning stand-up comedian with over 25 years of international performance experience. He’ll be hitting the stage at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts for An Evening with Steve Patterson on September 23 at 7:30 pm.

As host of the long-running hit radio show and podcast The Debaters and theatre show The Debaters Live, Patterson delivers a brand of comedy that is best described as honest and erudite—combining well-crafted writing with unparalleled, off-the-cuff wit. Twice named Canada’s Best Male Stand-Up at the Canadian Comedy Awards, he is known for keeping audiences engaged with heartfelt stories, concisely constructed letters, and original songs.

Patterson served as anchor for the “If It Makes You Happy” Gala at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival in 2022, and is the author of The Book of Letters I Didn’t Know Where to Send and Dad Up!.
