Irish star Mick Flannery performs at BlueShore at CapU, June 23
Singer-songwriter journeys through resilience and joy in North Shore Jazz concert as part of the Vancouver International Jazz Festival

Singer-songwriter Mick Flannery will focus on the layered aspects of the human condition—in all its flaws, triumphs, and general uncertainty—when he takes the BlueShore at CapU stage on June 23 at 7:30 pm.
The artist from Cork, Ireland is renowned for having a voice for the ages. Flannery puts on live shows with plenty of audience engagement and rollicking sets that showcase his self-deprecating humour, enhanced by his ability to bring people on a journey of both heartbreak and joy.
Flannery’s eighth studio album, Goodtime Charlie, is his third number-one album in Ireland. Influences include Kurt Cobain, Leonard Cohen, and Bob Dylan. Goodtime Charlie is also the first international release on John Prine’s Oh Boy Records.
Flannery’s upcoming performance is part of the eight-concert North Shore Jazz series presented in partnership with the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
