Parents are a Drag

Carousel Theatre for Young People presents Zee Zee Theatre’s production of Parents are a Drag, a celebration of diversity with songs, laughter, and play, at Performance Works on November 22 and 23.

Join local drag queens Peach Cobblah (Carousel’s co-artistic and managing director Dave Deveau) and Isolde N. Barron (Zee Zee’s artistic and executive director Cameron Mackenzie) and their family for a drag dress-up spectacular. This fun and inclusive event will add some rainbow to people’s lives by reminding young ones, parents, caregivers, and everyone in between that it’s never too early (or too late) to get silly and dress up.

Parents are a Drag was originally commissioned by the Vancouver International Children’s Festival and premiered in 2019. With opportunities for the audience to become part of the show, be sure to come dressed to impress or ready for some dress-up time.

Tickets and more details are available through Carousel Theatre.
