Local teenagers transform the city into their playground through social performances of Nightwalks with Teenagers, presented by Théâtre la Seizième from September 25 to October 4 at 7:30 pm. Both French and English are spoken in the bilingual work, which promises to be a festive, impromptu, and profoundly human experience.

Nightwalks with Teenagers is a walking performance created with young people who plan, design, and lead public walks through the city at night, sharing their favourite parts of the neighbourhood with members of the community. Through the power of walking together, the project brings together teens and adults who might not otherwise meet to have experiences related to a shared place and time.

For the Vancouver premiere of this unique project, created by Toronto company Mammalian Diving Reflex and adapted to more than 35 cities throughout the world, Théâtre la Seizième has collaborated with a group of local Vancouver teenagers mobilized through their schools.

Tickets will be on sale from September 5 at Théâtre la Seizième.
