Gateway Theatre presents Annie, a classic musical that tugs at the heartstrings, from December 11 to January 3, 2026. With the book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Martin Charnin, this Broadway show has won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. It features some of the greatest musical-theatre hits ever written, including “Tomorrow” and “It’s the Hard Knock Life”.

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her at the orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other orphaned girls, Annie escapes to the wondrous world, foiling Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations—and even befriending President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Join Annie this holiday season as she finds a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Three live dogs will play Sandy at Gateway Theatre, with support from Rebecca Jennings at Pooch Positive.

Tickets are available here.
