Step back into the 1950s as CTORA Productions stages Grease, May 8 to 17
Vibrant musical brings a beloved story to life with a dynamic cast, nostalgic design, and live orchestra
Grease
CTORA Productions presents Grease, the rollicking musical that evokes the look and sound of the 1950s, at the Granville Island Stage from May 8 to 17.
Rydell High’s senior class of 1959 is composed of duck-tailed, hot-rodding Burger Palace Boys and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking Pink Ladies in bobby sox and pedal pushers. Head greaser Danny Zuko and new girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive their summer romance as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such iconic songs as “Greased Lightnin’” and “We Go Together”, evoking pure rock-and-roll spirit.
Book, music, and lyrics for Grease are by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, and it is presented here through special arrangement with Concord Theatricals. It features a dynamic cast, nostalgic design, and a live orchestra performing onstage.
Grease celebrates youth and friendship with timeless music that continues to delight audiences of all generations.
Tickets are available through CTORA Productions.
