Kings Return performs effortless harmonies at the Kay Meek Arts Centre, January 18
The Grammy-nominated vocal group crafts a diverse, sophisticated, and soothing a cappella sound
Kings Return
Kings Return takes pride in crafting a diverse, dynamic, and utterly smooth a cappella sound. Discovered after a series of bare-bones stairwell performances went viral, the vocal group has earned comparisons to iconic acts Take 6 and Boyz II Men. This will be the Canadian debut.
Kings Return’s style is rooted in gospel and has evolved to incorporate elements of R&B, jazz, soul, and pop—all built on a solid classical foundation. The musicians’ cover of “How Deep is Your Love” by the Bee Gees earned them a Grammy Award nomination in 2022 for Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella.
With a rich blend of vocal timbres, Kings Return sounds, at times, more like a full choir than four men. The group’s effortless harmonies are a vibrant balm to the soul.
Catch Kings Return at the Kay Meek Arts Centre on January 18 at 7:30 pm. Tickets and more details are available here.
