Shadbolt Centre for the Arts presents The Golden Anniversaries, an Arts Club On Tour production, on March 24 at 7:30 pm and March 25 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm.
Since they got married, Glen and Sandy Golden have celebrated every wedding anniversary with a romantic getaway at the same cottage. They’re about to mark a major milestone: 50 years of wedded bliss (well, mostly bliss). But the week before the trip, Sandy cancels their big anniversary party and kicks Glen to the curb. Now, he wants to talk.
The Golden Anniversaries is written by Mark Crawford, who’s the mind behind Bed and Breakfast and The Birds and the Bees. It stars Peter Anderson as Glen and Eileen Barrett as Sandy, with director Arthi Chandra leading the charge.
Join the Goldens as they recount the good, the bad, and the ugly of spending half a century together.
Tickets start at $29, with more details available here.
