The Dutch Film Festival has just announced the official lineup for its 2026 edition, showcasing 12 films across five venues throughout Vancouver. Screenings and filmmaker discussions take place across two weekends, March 27 to 29 and April 23 to 26.

The 2026 program includes a diverse selection of features, documentaries, and short films—including North American premieres—with offerings from Suriname, Indonesia, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

The festival opens with the first Canadian screening in decades of war classic Soldier of Orange, directed by Dutch filmmaker Paul Verhoeven, at The Cinematheque on March 27, along with a reception. And with Vancouver edging towards the FIFA World Cup, the festival closes with All Stars, a sports comedy-drama directed by Jean van de Velde.

More offerings include a discussion with the directors of Monikondee, a film about post-colonial Suriname; and a screening of Netherlands Academy Award nominee Rietland.

Festival passes and individual tickets are on sale through the Dutch Film Festival.
