The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts is hosting Ballet BC Annex, performing a triple bill of exciting works, on October 18 at 3 pm.

Each season, a young company of Annex dancers training with Modus Operandi and Arts Umbrella Dance Company embark on a tour, bringing professional performances of acclaimed Ballet BC repertoire and new creations to audiences throughout the province.

In the 2026–27 season, Ballet BC Annex will share three riveting works. Among them is a world premiere from Tla’amin First Nation choreographer Cameron Fraser-Monroe, who is currently artist-in-residence at the National Theatre School of Canada. His recent works include the large-scale ballet T’əl: The Wild Man of the Woods, created for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

The program also includes Out Innerspace’s Last Flower, which was originally choreographed for Ballet BC in 2024; and a world premiere by Ballet BC company artist Michael Garcia.

Tickets are available through the Shadbolt Centre.
