The Dance Centre presents the world premiere of Corporeal Imago’s Drift from May 21 to 23 at 8 pm, as part of the Global Dance Connections series.

Drift conjures a mysterious world where the human form recedes into a scarred and shifting landscape. This powerful work is choreographed by Corporeal Imago artistic directors Gabrielle Martin and Jeremiah Hughes in collaboration with the five performers: Andréane Leclerc, Arash Khakpour, Davi Rodrigues, Nicole Rose Bond, and Vanessa Goodman.

The production unfolds through compelling movement, haunting visual effects, and an atmospheric soundscape. It features music by Jo Hirabayashi and lighting design by Jeremiah Hughes with Itai Erdal.

Drift is an investigation of transformation and ecological change from a company which continues to push the boundaries of physical and visual performance. A post-show artist talkback on May 22 will provide more insight into Corporeal Imago’s creation process.

Tickets and more details are available through The Dance Centre.
