Junior company features eight dancers training with Modus Operandi and Arts Umbrella Dance Company

Ballet BC Annex, a project led by Canada’s leading contemporary dance company, is touring to Burnaby’s Shadbolt Centre for the Arts on November 9 at 3 pm.
Each season, this junior company of Annex dancers who are training with Modus Operandi and Arts Umbrella Dance Company tour throughout the Lower Mainland and across the province, bringing contemporary dance repertoire and professional performances to audiences of all ages.
For the 2025-26 season, Ballet BC Annex will share the world premieres of dance creations by acclaimed Vancouver-based choreographers Alexis Fletcher and Vanessa Goodman. The two new works will feature performers Ry Jackson, Ekaterina Kuzovkina, Rianna Logan, Rachel Lui, Amelie McDonald, Ainsley Nivens, Louis Pineau, and Jada Tang.
Additional stops on this year’s Ballet BC Annex tour include Bowen Island’s The Hearth – Arts on Bowen and Coquitlam’s Evergreen Cultural Centre.
