Alliance Française Vancouver presents V-Unframed: Your Journey Between Art and Virtual Reality on November 16 and 17
ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE VANCOUVER has a new show for art enthusiasts and tech lovers alike. V-Unframed: Your Journey Between Art and Virtual Reality is a digital exhibition featuring immersive and interactive artworks by local talents and international artists.
Since 2019, Alliance Française Vancouver has organized V-Unframed with the goal of making digital arts more accessible to all.
This year’s edition features an exclusive mixed-reality concert, FORMATIONS, which will be held in Alliance Française’s theatre at its new cultural facility. Equipped with VR headsets, audiences will experience a unique interplay between live music and interactive digital art in real time.
The event also hosts a curated exhibition of artworks addressing social and environmental issues.
Suitable for families, individuals, and groups, V-Unframed is available in French and English. ![]()
Gail Johnson is cofounder of Stir. She is a Vancouver-based journalist who has earned local and national nominations and awards for her work. She is a certified Gladue Report writer via Indigenous Perspectives Society in partnership with Royal Roads University and is a member of a judging panel for top Vancouver restaurants.
