Western Gold Theatre presents an On Our Feet (OOF) staged reading of Agatha Christie’s The Stranger at the PAL Studio Theatre from March 13 to 15.
Written by one of the most prolific authors of all time, The Stranger is an intimate psychological thriller with several well-placed red herrings. The suspenseful 1932 play is an adaptation of Christie’s 1924 short story “Philomel Cottage”, and was not produced or published during her lifetime. It is considered a hidden gem that focuses on the chillingly slow realization of danger.
On Our Feet staged readings guarantee a rollicking good time for audiences as a cast of professionals fly by the seats of their pants, books in hand for a fully staged production complete with sets, costumes, and movement.
Directed by Colleen Winton, The Stranger stars Colleen Rae Lornie, Tanja Dixon-Warren, Ian Farthing, Bronwen Smith, and Craig Erickson.
